Our History
Sarah and Mary had known about each other for years, yet never met. Industry professionals would tell them, separately, about each other and how they had extremely similar skillsets focused on attention to detail, and a client-centered approach. Rather than being each other’s competition, Sarah and Mary decided to collaborate, forming Hall & Parlor.
Tracing its roots back to 19th-century England, the standard hall and parlor house has become a model for many of today’s more complex and popular housing designs. It’s this history that inspires the client-focused work we do each day – with the end user of the space at the top of our mind through every step of the design process.
